National parks near Malaga

From Malaga and the Costa del Sol, the Sierra de las Nieves, Spain's newest national park, is an hour inland via Ronda or Yunquera, with Spanish firs and the peak of Torrecilla. The Sierra de Grazalema is ninety minutes west, and Gibraltar's Upper Rock reserve, with its macaques and tunnels, two hours along the coast. Donana is three hours away, beyond Seville. Closer to the city, the Caminito del Rey gorge walk needs timed tickets.
