Park tours in Victoria

Victoria's tour market is really the Great Ocean Road. The Twelve Apostles are 275 kilometres from Melbourne, four and a half hours by the coast and three by the inland highway, and the one-day coach trips run thirteen to fourteen hours, going out one way and back the other for an hour or so at the stacks. Reverse-itinerary tours reach them before the coaches. Alpine National Park, four hours out, has horseback rides from Tawonga and little else sold.
