Finland's forest agency, Metsahallitus, counts visits to every national park each year. Urho Kekkonen, beside the ski resort of Saariselka, leads the parks in the catalogue with over 400,000, followed by Nuuksio on the edge of Helsinki. Pyha-Luosto, Oulanka and Sipoonkorpi follow. The country's overall leader, Pallas-Yllastunturi, is not covered here. Numbers rose sharply in 2020 and have stayed high.
